1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any Alkebulan service — including the marketplace, BulanPay, ThirtyMin, Digital Health, Lodear, or B2B Wholesale — you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Services Description

Alkebulan is a multi-vertical SuperApp operating across 54 African markets.

  • Alkebulan Marketplace: Multi-vendor e-commerce with live shopping, flash sales, and AI recommendations
  • BulanPay: Financial services including wallet, KYC, P2P transfers, BNPL, investments, savings, airtime, and bill payments
  • ThirtyMin: 30-minute delivery service with real-time GPS tracking
  • Digital Health: Telemedicine consultations, prescriptions, pharmacy orders
  • Lodear: Vehicle and spare parts marketplace with VIN lookup
  • B2B Wholesale: Enterprise procurement with dropshipping integration

Services availability may vary by country and market.

3. User Accounts

Your account is unified across all six verticals — one login gives you access to the marketplace, BulanPay wallet, ThirtyMin delivery, health services, Lodear, and B2B wholesale. You must provide accurate information, maintain account security, and comply with KYC/AML requirements for financial services.

4. Payment Terms

All payments are processed through BulanPay, our integrated financial infrastructure. Supported payment methods include mobile money (via Senfenico), BulanPay wallet balance, BNPL installment plans, and bank transfers. Currency conversion rates are set at the time of transaction. Refunds follow the return policy of each vertical.

5. Merchant Terms

Sellers on the Alkebulan marketplace and Lodear operate through the mobile-partenaire app. Merchants must maintain accurate listings, fulfill orders within SLA timeframes, and comply with local regulations. Commission rates vary by vertical and market. Violation of terms may result in account suspension.

6. Prohibited Activities

Prohibited Activities:

  • Illegal activities or promotion of illegal services
  • Fraudulent transactions or identity misrepresentation
  • Intellectual property infringement
  • Disruption of platform services or infrastructure
  • Unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
  • Harassment or abuse of other users, merchants, or delivery drivers

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Alkebulan platform, including but not limited to BulanPay, ThirtyMin, Lodear, Yennenga AI, and all associated technology, are owned by or licensed to Alkebulan.

8. Limitation of Liability

Alkebulan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you through the platform in the preceding 12 months.

9. Dispute Resolution

Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration. You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to class action proceedings.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms. Continued use of the Alkebulan platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. App Store / Play Store Terms

  • The mobile application is licensed, not sold, to you.
  • You acknowledge that Apple Inc. and Google LLC are third-party beneficiaries of these terms.
  • Use of the app is also governed by Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and Google Play Terms of Service.
  • These stores may enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

13. Mobile Application License

  • The license granted to you is non-transferable, limited, and revocable.
  • You may not reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the application.
  • We reserve the right to update or discontinue the app at any time.
  • App removal from stores does not terminate outstanding obligations.

14. In-App Payments

  • Payments for services (BulanPay wallet, purchases, etc.) are processed through our integrated payment systems, not through Apple/Google in-app purchase.
  • Refund policies are governed by our terms, not by Apple/Google refund policies.
  • Mobile money transactions (Senfenico/Orange Money/Wave) are governed by their respective terms of service.

15. Push Notifications & Permissions

  • The app may request permissions including camera, location, notifications, and contacts.
  • You can revoke permissions at any time in your device settings.
  • Disabling certain permissions may limit app functionality.
